It has been a busy month for Hannah too! She has just started playing on a basketball team at school. Her team won their first game which was very exciting. We're looking forward to watching her play for the next few months.
Hannah participated in the PTA reflections contest this year. She made a beautiful piece of art, but she did not end up placing in the competition. She was slightly heartbroken, but we reminded her how proud we all were with her piece. I'm actually kind of glad she didn't win because we got to keep her art, and I'm looking forward to framing it in our home.
The theme of the competition was "Magic of the Moment", and Hannah's piece was about Ms. Brunner, her kindergarten teacher, teaching her how to read. Speaking of reading, Hannah is continuing to do an amazing job with her reading. She loves to read mystery stories and she recently finished the first Harry Potter.
She loves spending time with her friends. She spends most of the weekend outside with her neighborhood friends. She is starting to like playing games on the computer which is a special treat!
Hannah is our little character. She comes off as reserved to her teachers and classmates, but she is quite the silly girl at home. She avoids all things girly, and loves playing baseball and football with the boys. She's smart, beautiful, and funny which is probably going to cause us a lot of grief during the teenage years!
