Update - Ben

Ugh...I have become the busy blogger that never updates her blog!  We are all still here and doing well.  I think the easiest way to cover all the bases is to update each child in a separate post.  We'll start with my middle man, Ben.

Ben has spent the past few months playing t-ball.  Between practices and games every week, it has kept our entire family busy.  This was the first team Ben has been a part of, and it was a great experience for him.

He made a lot of friends and, of course, caused a lot of trouble.  One night practice had to end 10 minutes early because Ben had convinced every boy on the team to make funny faces at each other instead of go for the ball.  He also spent a lot of time negotiating with me, Jay, and his coaches about why he needed to play a game on mom's phone or just sit out an inning because he was bored in the outfield.

The highlight of his season was when he got the game ball, and when he earned his trophy.  He is so proud of the trophy that he tried to sleep with it one night and the bat broke off.  Nothing Daddy can't fix.

We're very proud of our "Baseball Ben", and we're looking forward to another season in the spring. 

Ben is just getting over being very sick for over a week.  He had a fever of at least 101 for 6 consecutive days.  At one point it was at 104.  He spent a lot of time watching TV, but I think he's glad to finally be back in his routine.  He continues to love staying with Ms. Gloria, and he is doing a wonderful job being a helper throughout the day.  He loves learning new things, and always tells us about his "school day".  He is the master negotiator, and is constantly trying to tell us how to run the house.  I'm sure one day he will make a fierce businessman!
